Edom Hill Transfer Station

A transfer station is a local collection site for the temporary deposition of commercial, residential, and industrial waste prior to loading into larger vehicles. Transfer stations are an important and fundamental part of effective waste management. DVD takes their waste to the Edom Hill Transfer Station and the site is also open to the public.

Landfill

A landfill is a carefully designed structure built into or on top of the ground in which trash is isolated from the surrounding environment (groundwater, air, rain). This isolation is accomplished with a bottom liner and daily covering of soil. After DVD takes waste to Edom Hill it is transported to the Lamb Canyon facility for futher processing.

What about Metal Recycling?

DVD takes metal to be recycled to the SA Recycling facility in Thousand Palms. You can take your metals directly to them as well.
