Residential and single-family subscribers are eligible for FREE collection of bulky waste. Bulky items cannot exceed 150 pounds per item and must be easily lifted by two collectors. This free service includes up to six bulky items per year per residence.
Bulky items include:
- Appliances
- Furniture
- eWaste
- Tires
Please call (760) 329-5030 to schedule your pickup. Once an appointment is set, take your bulky items to the curb and they will be collected on the day of your appointment.
Please Note: DVD will not enter a residence, so items must be placed at or near the curb. Customers must be current on their bill in order to receive this service.
Bulky items can also be collected during the Citywide Clean-up events in April and October. You are afforded an additional 2 items per household during these events and they can be placed at the curb on the Monday morning of the Clean-Up.
Cardboard Recycling
Got Cardboard? No problem. We'll pick it up!
- Flatten all boxes.
- Place small pieces in your recycle cart.
- Tie or bundle large pieces with tape or rope.
- Place at curb by 6am on your pick up day.
**For safety reasons, please make sure cardboard is flattened and tied securely.
